Classroom Schedules

Parents are expected to bring their children to the center, bus stop, or make carpool arrangements with other parents to get them to the center between 7:25 and 8:00 AM. Parents are responsible for the supervision of their child as they transition in and out of the building during pick-up and drop off. Once the child has been signed in with the teacher, the child is under the supervision of the teacher and/or teacher assistant. At pick-up, once the child has been signed out, the parent resumes responsibility of the supervision of the child.

Each class at St. Clair County Head Start has a very similar schedule, but certain parts of that schedule may take place at different times depending on the classroom. For example, one classroom may have outside time earlier than another class, and another class may be in centers while another is in large group.  Each teacher has the classroom schedule posted in their room, so make sure to read this to know the schedule of your child's classroom.

SCCHS Business Hours:            Monday-Friday      7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
